A True Story of When Oils Become a Bridge

I’ve been holding a story on my heart that I feel led to share with you…
A close friend recently reached out about using essential oils with a loved one on hospice. I’ve had the sacred honor of being present with several people in their final season of life, and with each experience, I’ve learned something new—about comfort, connection, and the quiet power of presence.
The next day, she told me how he responded when she gently applied calming oils to his body. There was a noticeable shift—not just in him, but in her, too.
He relaxed.
The room felt lighter.
Emotions softened.
Peace settled in.
It reminded me again: it’s not just about the oils.
It’s the intention we bring to those few seconds that makes all the difference.
Whether you're rubbing oils on your child’s feet before bed, supporting a friend through something hard, or simply pausing to breathe it in yourself—those moments matter.
The pause...
The touch...
The connection...
Even the quiet words whispered in love...
This is when oils become more than just wellness tools—they become a bridge. A bond. A breath of peace.
What starts as a simple act—massaging a few drops into tired hands and feet or diffusing a gentle blend— this simple act can shift everything.
Each time she opens a bottle now, she’s not just reaching for an oil—she’s opening space for something sacred in the time they have left together.
Lavender eases the tension.
Frankincense brings calm and reverence.
Valor reminds them both to breathe… and hope.
So, the next time you reach for a bottle, I invite you to pause.
Take a breath. Be present.
Let it be more than routine—let it be a gift.

It’s in those few sacred seconds—the moment you open a bottle, take a breath, and connect—that something powerful happens. Whether you're gently applying oils to a friend in need, rubbing them on your child’s feet at bedtime, or simply pausing to inhale side-by-side, intention makes all the difference.
It doesn’t take long. Just a few seconds of presence. Of love. Of saying, “I see you. I’m with you.”
Those tiny moments? They shift energy. Emotions soften. Connection deepens. And both hearts—whether giving or receiving—walk away lighter.

I put together a quick reference guide with a few of my favorites—stay tuned for more on emotions and the powerful benefits of essential oils!

Meet Melissa Mason: Your Wellness Waymaker

Hi, I’m Melissa Mason — a Certified Natural Health Professional, Raindrop Technique Specialist, Zyto Specialist, lifelong learner, and faith-filled wellness educator. For over 36 years, I’ve been on a holistic journey of natural health and healing — and for 15+ years, Young Living essential oils have been a transformative part of that story. I have an arsenal of holistic wellness tools — including monthly at-home health scans that you can do in the privacy of your own home.

I help women 40+ reclaim mobility, relieve pain, balance hormones, and moms of all ages become the health leaders of their homes using nature-based solutions. My specialties include at-home wellness therapies, postmenopausal health, and family-centered healing strategies that integrate essential oils, clean living, movement, and prayer.

After an auto accident in 2024 challenged my health and mobility, my mission deepened: to support other women navigating recovery and chronic stress, and to show that healing is possible — naturally. Whether I’m teaching a class, hosting a table talk, or equipping moms and grandmas with holistic tools (even for their chickens and pets!), my heart is the same: helping you create a healing sanctuary right where you are.

I believe your home is holy ground. Let’s make it a place where healing happens — body, mind, and spirit.
