How to Share Young Living Without Feeling Salesy

How to Share Young Living Without Feeling Salesy

If you love Young Living but struggle with sharing it because you don’t want to sound pushy or salesy, you’re not alone! The good news? You don’t have to be a salesperson to introduce people to the benefits of essential oils and natural wellness. Instead, think of it as sharing your personal journey and offering value. Here’s how to do it authentically and confidently:

1. Lead with Your Story

People connect with personal experiences, not sales pitches. Share how Young Living has impacted your life—whether it’s supporting your wellness, helping you reduce toxins, or allowing you to stay home with your kids. Keep it real and relatable!

2. Educate, Don’t Sell

Position yourself as a resource, not a salesperson. Offer helpful tips, recipes, or ways to use essential oils in everyday life. When people see the value, they’ll naturally be curious about what you’re using.

3. Be a Product of the Product

Use Young Living products in your daily life and talk about them casually. Share a diffuser blend you love, a DIY cleaning swap, or how an oil helped you with sleep. When people see you using it, they’ll ask questions!

4. Share Solutions, Not Just Products

Instead of saying, “Buy this lavender oil,” talk about how it helps create a calm bedtime routine. Instead of promoting supplements, share how they’ve supported your energy or digestion. Focus on how the products solve real problems.

5. Use Social Proof

People trust recommendations from others. Share testimonials, success stories, or screenshots of friends who have benefited from Young Living. Social proof builds credibility without feeling like a sales pitch.

6. Invite, Don’t Pressure

Instead of pushing a sale, invite people to learn more. Host a casual class, send an educational email, or offer a sample. Let them decide on their own terms. “I’m hosting a free essential oils 101 class—want an invite?” feels way better than “You need to buy this now!”

7. Be Authentic and Have Fun

People are drawn to authenticity. Be yourself, share naturally, and don’t stress about making a sale. Focus on building relationships, and the business will grow organically. By shifting your mindset from “selling” to “sharing,” you’ll feel more confident, and people will naturally be drawn to what you have to offer. Just keep serving, educating, and being YOU!

Meet Melissa Mason: Your Wellness Waymaker

Hi, I’m Melissa Mason — a Certified Natural Health Professional, Raindrop Technique Specialist, Zyto Specialist, lifelong learner, and faith-filled wellness educator. For over 36 years, I’ve been on a holistic journey of natural health and healing — and for 15+ years, Young Living essential oils have been a transformative part of that story. I have an arsenal of holistic wellness tools — including monthly at-home health scans that you can do in the privacy of your own home.

I help women 40+ reclaim mobility, relieve pain, balance hormones, and moms of all ages become the health leaders of their homes using nature-based solutions. My specialties include at-home wellness therapies, postmenopausal health, and family-centered healing strategies that integrate essential oils, clean living, movement, and prayer.

After an auto accident in 2024 challenged my health and mobility, my mission deepened: to support other women navigating recovery and chronic stress, and to show that healing is possible — naturally. Whether I’m teaching a class, hosting a table talk, or equipping moms and grandmas with holistic tools (even for their chickens and pets!), my heart is the same: helping you create a healing sanctuary right where you are.

I believe your home is holy ground. Let’s make it a place where healing happens — body, mind, and spirit.
